Another Year, Another Resolution?

Welcome to 2018! When I was a kid, I thought 2018 was a lifetime away (it is) and that by then I would either be ancient (how could I conceive of being over 60?) or dead. Well, as said in Monty Python’s Holy Grail, I’m not dead!

I actually find all the hoopla about a new year rather senseless. Really, folks, it’s just another day, another year, and subject to an arbitrary calendar. In that curmudgeonly spirit, here is my personal New Year’s resolution.

I, Dorothy Siemens, resolve to keep making art.

There, that was easy. I believe in making resolutions I can keep. None of this nonsense about exercising more.

However you start your new year, I’m sending you best wishes for a good one!

Exercise Equipment

Exercise equipment gathering dust. I’d rather be in the studio!

I so agree about New Year Dorothy and love that your resolution is so sustainable. I love that we will benefit from this process too as we see the glorious art you make. Hope it is a healthy, creative, joyful year.
